Regarding the renewable energy projects to be implemented in the Eastern Province, the discussion between the Governor of the Eastern Province Senthil Thondaman and the Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekara was held. During the meeting held today (08) at the Ministry of Power and Energy, Eastern Province Governor Senthil Thondamanil presented the issue. Meanwhile, Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera has expressed her agreement to implement the renewable energy project in the East.
