Considering the present shortage of teachers in the Eastern Province, Governor Hon. Senthil Thondaman has signed the consent letter of Provincial Public Service Commission to appoint 700 graduate teachers in the Eastern Province. 630 teachers’ appointments were already given by Hon.Senthil Thondaman. At present 700 graduate teachers will be nominated to be appointed in near future. These appointments have been made to address the shortage of teachers in the Eastern Province it is the prime purpose to take necessary steps for further aqààimprovement of the education sector .
